Love happens to us when we least expect it. That was how we met. Two people, from different countries and yet the world don't seem so vast with The Net. Most people think that meeting someone through the internet, on dating sites is a sheer waste of time but we are a living prove that it is possible.
We both met on Lavalife mid January of 2004. We were two people, just surfing the internet and joining dating and relationship sites in hope to meet the right one. At first, our chats were just casual and not as frequent. Little did we know that we would end up together and having found love through this
We spent many hours chatting about everything and getting to know each other. We shared our dreams and aspirations, pasts experiences and laughter. In time, we fell in love with each other.
A few months later, I flew down to the USA to meet up with him. There were objection from friends of course but we went ahead with the meeting. There, our love just grew and we could not imagine life without the other. 6 months later, on my way to the airport in Toronto, he proposed to me at The Niagara Falls. We knew that we would have to separate for a while, but our love is strong enough to withstand the test of time.
We spent a lot of time sharing music and poetries that we wrote to each other. Most of our waking hours, if not busy with our daily chores, were spent with each other. Some of the music included in our website are those that are very meaningful for us both. For now, it is endless waiting, paper work and more paper work. We have added some pictures taken when we were together and some personal pictures of each other for all to enjoy. For all who are still searching for the right one, never give up on love and follow your heart. We both did.
